Super Skunk

Here is a 2 week old Super Skunk seedling.  These pictures are from my original setup, which consisted of only a 250watt Hydrofarm HPS.   The HPS is what gives this picture the orange color.  I then switched to a 1000watt AgroSun because I wanted the tightest buds I could get.  The plant above turned out to be a male.

This Super Skunk is about 4-5 weeks old.  This plant also turned out to be a male.   This brings up an important tip.  When starting a new strain germinate at least 6 seeds to guarantee a female.  I germinated 4 seeds with this batch and only got one female which looked completely different from the males.  I'm pretty sure I didn't get matching characteristics of the Super Skunk as described in the Sensi catalog.   The buds of my Super Skunk's look completely different from the catalog photo.   I'm very happy with the bud...only next time I will germinate more seeds to get a matching plant.

This is an old picture of my Super Skunk mother.  It is growing in a 3 gallon container lighted with a 2ft fluorescent and a 30watt circular fluorescent.  With all the new strains I've started I'm going to keep many smaller mothers instead of one big mother for each strain.
